Got the winter blues? Get into the warm winter vibe at Reserve Restaurant & Lounge in Kansas City for the best in live music and entertainment at downtown’s premier dining space for a delicious meal and a romantic evening!

On Thursdays tune up your thirst with half-price bottles of wine and the bset in Kansas City jazz from the illustrious David Basse Trio. Then, follow it up with our Feel Good Fridays led by the stellar crooner, crowd-pleaser and all-around talent that is the Ron Gutierrez Trio. For good measure, and to make sure your weekend has the right amount of groove,  let your Saturdays be Soulful with a special rotating lineup of some KC’s finest.

Max Levy – January 4

Max Levy leads his own group that performs a variety of originals and straight-ahead jazz music. They have been featured throughout the United States from the east coast to the midwest. Max can also be seen playing with other prominent ensembles including The Sextet, Hard@Play, Son Venezuela, musical pit orchestras, and countless others. Max currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri where he works throughout the region performing at various music venues. He has studied and worked with such legendary saxophonists as Bobby Watson, Dan Thomas, Dr. Frank Bongiorno, Benton Hill, and Rob Holmes of the Navy Jazz Commodores.

Stan Kessler – January 11

Trumpeter, Composer, Bandleader and Educator – a veteran on the Kansas City music scene, Stan Kessler has recorded with Karrin Allyson, Max Groove, Musa Nova, Trilogy Big Band, Kansas City Spirit Orchestra, The Sons of Brasil, and Angela Hagenbach among others.

Jerry Hooper – January 18

Jerry Hooper, Principal of Jerry Hooper Music and Operator of the Liberty Jazz groups. The LJ groups appear throughout the greater Kansas City area and perform jazz and background music. We offer several configurations from duo to quintet, depending on your budget and other considerations. We specialize in jazz standards, Latin favorites and a wide variety of well known songs. Jerry Hooper plays keyboard both in solo environments (restaurants, clubs, weddings, etc), with the Liberty Jazz groups, with the jazz-rock horn band Brass Rewind and also substitute for local bands.

Jazz up your weekend with the sweet sound of Kansas City each and every Saturday night at Reserve, the chic and welcoming restaurant and lounge located in the swank Ambassador Hotel in the downtown Power & Light District. Experience some of Kansas City’s best jazz musicians as they spice up your night with their infectious grooves and pitch-perfect melodies to go with the delicious culinary delights and cocktails at Reserve.

Feel Good Fridays

Get that Feel Good Friday feeling each and every Friday night from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at the Reserve Restaurant located in the swank and cozy Ambassador Hotel Kansas City. Experience the sweet melodies of crooner Ron Gutierrez and his trio of talented musicians who play the best in soul, R&B, and jazz ballads. Song requests are welcome, so come prepared with that special tune you’d like to hear.

Accompany the singing sensation that is Ron Gutierrez with some hand-crafted cocktails and the delectable cuisine of Chef Jeremiah Lyman to keep you feeling that good Friday feeling. Let’s get it on!
